Qualifikationen

• CNA Certification or enrollment in nursing education; CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Minimum of 90% on annual Health and Safety Training quizzes.
• Unit-based recognition for Capillary Blood Glucose Monitoring.
• High school diploma required; one year of college or nursing education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous health care experience preferred with ability to relate to patients and staff.

Aufgaben

• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations, weight, height and blood pressure.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens as directed.
• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision on unit.
• Attend to patient needs, respond to call lights, and assist with daily activities and meals.
