Texas Health Alliance in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the 3S Med Surg Unit. The full-time day shift runs 7a-7p across 3 shifts, totaling 36 hours weekly.

This fast-paced unit offers growth, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team environment. Responsibilities include assisting patients per care plan, data collection, admissions/discharges, and collaboration with nurses to adapt care.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA/NAHP/NCCT or THR approved program.
• Current EMT for TX or military medical training equivalent—EMT-B.
• Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program.

Mansioni

• Provides assistance to patient according to plan of care.
• Collects patient data, reports significant findings to nurse.
• Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.
• Implements activities of daily living per patient/family preferences.
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
• Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
• Enters orders into computer or manual system if applicable.
• Documents accurately and appropriately.
• Adapts care reflecting patient population in collaboration with nurse.
