Texas Health Southwest in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Med Surg. The role supports patient care per plan, aids admissions/transfers, and ensures safe, clean environments while collaborating with nursing staff.

Requirements include a High School diploma, PCT training or THR-approved program, BCLS, CPI training, and up to 1 year of relevant experience. Weekend/holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• CLIAFE compliance with CLIA regulations required.
• PCT Training Program or THR approved program required on hire.
• EMT training or equivalent required on hire.
• 1 year of applicable experience in lieu of a cert may be considered on hire.
• BCLS certification required before providing independent patient care.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care and assistance per plan of care.
• Collect and report patient data; support admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment; meet patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participate in process improvement and safety goals.
