HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a collaborative nursing team. You will assist RNs with hands-on care, vital signs, mobility, and daily patient needs while promoting a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include helping with patient preparation, transfers, dressing changes, cleanliness, and equipment management. BLS within 30 days is required; CNA license preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Assist with vital signs, mobility and personal care.
• Help monitor conditions and carry out care plans.
• Maintain clean, safe patient areas and stock supplies.
• Communicate with patients, families and care team.

Aufgaben

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

Kenntnisse

Basic CPR/BLS within 30 days
