HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a collaborative nursing team and support RNs with hands-on care, vital signs, mobility and daily activities. The role emphasizes empathy, patient comfort, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

You will assist with patient preparation, dressing changes, keeping areas clean, managing supplies, and communicating with patients and families. Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
