Job summary

Sanford Health’s North Mandan Clinic in Mandan, ND seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide essential basic patient care in ambulatory services and support nursing staff. You will perform vital signs, prepare treatment areas, and assist with admissions and clerical tasks, under supervision of licensed clinicians.

The role emphasizes accuracy in age-related care across diverse patient populations, teamwork, and maintaining clean spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience preferred; clinic setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies.
• BLS for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and clean/prepare medical equipment.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Support nursing staff in daily workflow.
• Maintain patient care area and restock supplies.
• Work with patient registries to identify opportunities to improve care.
