Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center, a 235-bed acute care hospital in Wellington, FL, seeks a full-time Patient Care Tech/CNA to provide direct patient care and support telemetry monitoring. Qualifications

• CNA certification is required and Florida license is necessary.
• Must read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Must be able to perform EKGs and use computer systems for order entry and ADT functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks in the patient care area.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythm strips.
• Greet and assist patients; perform receptionist/secretarial duties as needed.
• Be willing to cross-train and float to meet facility needs.
