Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is seeking a Patient Care Tech who provides essential patient care and supports cardiac monitoring, receptionist tasks, and general duties. The role requires CNA certification, Florida licensure, and BLS with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Completion of formal CNA training and Florida CNA license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Good communication skills to relate to customers.
• Must be able to perform EKGs.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and related services in the patient care area.
• Monitors and interprets cardiac telemetry rhythm strips.
• Receptionist and secretarial duties.
• Willing to cross-train and float to meet facility needs.
