Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas is seeking a Full-Time PCT/CNA to support patient care under licensed nurses, perform vital signs, and document in the EMR. The role requires basic life support and relevant experience or certifications as listed. Expect participation in quality initiatives and adherence to safety policies.

The position is located at 9100 W 74th St, Shawnee Mission, KS 66204. The candidate should have a High School diploma, BLS, and prefer CNA/CPCT/A or EMT credentials.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1+ years of applicable PCT experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred; CPCT/A or EMT certifications preferred.
• CPR/BLS required or preferred as listed in licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately take vital signs and document in the electronic medical record.
• Document and report all procedures per department policy.
• Perform duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Respond appropriately to clinical emergencies within scope of practice.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and uphold quality standards.
