Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring for a Full-Time Day Shift Patient Care Technician at the Shawnee Mission, KS facility. The role supports nursing staff by delivering patient care under supervision, taking vital signs, and documenting in the EMR.

Strong communication with patients and families is essential, along with adherence to safety and CDC guidelines. Requirements include a High School diploma, BLS certification, and preferred CNA/CPCT/A/EMT credentials with 1+ PCT experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• 1+ PCT experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; CNA/CPCT/A/EMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Documents and reports procedures accurately and per department policy.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and follow safety regulations.
