Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record; documents and reports procedures per policy.
• Performs duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Functions appropriately within scope in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards.
