The role includes taking vital signs, documenting in the EMR, following safety protocols and PPE guidelines, and supporting performance improvements within the unit.

Required education is a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred 1+ years PCT experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required].
• 1+ applicable PCT experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in delivery of patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the EMR.
• Documents and reports procedures accurately per department policy.
• Performs duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Function within scope in clinical emergencies.
• Contributes to performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines, uses PPE correctly, and enforces safety regulations.
