Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• CNA or Health Support Professional program completion preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) studies acceptable as alternative (2 years).
• ADN student in early program years acceptable as alternative.

Responsibilities

• Communicate accurate information to patients, families, and staff at handoffs.
• Provide safe, effective patient care under nurse supervision.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Document patient care in real time and maintain privacy.
• Assist with prioritization and time management in a fast-paced unit.
