Sentara Health in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse and support admissions and discharges. You will observe patients, report changes, and follow safety protocols in a hospital environment.

Requirements include a HS diploma and one of the listed certifications or current clinical enrollment. At least 1 year of hospital experience is strongly preferred.

Formación

• HS Diploma required with one of the listed certifications or clinical program enrollment.
• 1 year of hospital experience preferred (strongly preferred).
• Current student in a clinical program with RN/LPN/RT or PT experience may qualify.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to the nurse.
• Adhere to patient safety practices and care plans.
