Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports patient concerns/changes to a registered nurse.
• Assists RN with admission, transfer, discharge and general patient care duties.
• Records vital signs, assists in personal hygiene and comfort measures, and tracks intake/output.
• Assists in specimen collection and activities of assigned patients.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment to prevent infections and ensure safety.
• Reports equipment repairs to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Prepares patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Communicates nutrition issues to RN and assists in administrative tasks.
