Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three months of hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certified within six weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned patient care and treatment as delegated by an RN or LPN.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Responds to patient calls and anticipates patient needs.
• Assures patient safety and comfort through safe handling techniques and regular rounding.
• Measures vital signs and performs bedside blood glucose testing.
• Documents patient information in health records in accordance with policy and scope of job duties.
