Job Summary

The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a member of the patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical, multiskilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The PCT works under the supervision of a licensed nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs, PCT skill level, and abilities. The PCT provides care for adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; completion of High School or GED preferred.
• Less than 2 years of successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course required; previous CNA experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• CPR certification from AHA Healthcare Provider required.

Specific Requirements

Minimum age of 17 years required.
