Job summary

Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team. You will protect patients, operate equipment safely, and adhere to PPE and standard precautions while contributing to the center’s efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS within 90 days, and knowledge of medical terminology. CMA/CNA/PCT experience is preferred, with competitive pay and benefits.

• Protecting the patient from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermalsources


• Demonstrating safe operation of equipment machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation


• Adhering to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment


• P proactively optimizes opportunities to enhance flow and efficiency of the center

Qualifications

Patient Care Technician (PCT) Requirements:

• High SchoolGraduatorequivalent.


• Certified Medical Assistant(MA)/NursingAssistant(CNA)/Patient Care(PCT)preferred.


• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.


• Knowledge of medical terminology.
