BMC Berkeley Medical Center is seeking a healthcare assistant for night shifts to provide nonprofessional direct patient care under supervision of licensed nurses. The role supports admissions, routine patient care, vital sign recording, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification within 30 days. Prior patient care experience is preferred. Schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotations.
This position performs nonprofessional direct and indirect patient care activities including personal, physical and comfort needs of patients, under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. This position will provide high-quality patient care in coordination with licensed medical staff.
