OhioHealth is seeking a Part Time Casual Patient Support Assistant for the Southeastern Medical Center. You will assist the Registered Nurse in delivering direct patient care on a designated nursing unit, including activities of daily living, telemetry monitoring, and patient transport.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurse in providing direct patient care on a designated nursing unit.
• Perform activities of daily living and assist in patient care while maintaining safety and cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment.
• Assist in telemetry monitoring and report life-threatening arrhythmias to the licensed clinician.
• Transport patients and run errands related to patient care.
• Record vital signs, intake/outtake, height/weight and other data; document on appropriate forms.
