Jefferson Regional Nursing Departments seeks a Patient Coordinator to help ensure quality patient care by assuring adequate staffing and appropriate skills. You will collaborate with medical staff, administration, and families while supporting financial control of the department under Nurse Manager guidance.

Role requires nursing education, clinical experience, and strong communication. Safety-sensitive position with regular weekday hours and periodic extended shifts to cover staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• Technical or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director of Nursing, coordinates staffing to ensure quality patient care.
• Delegates duties appropriately and directs staff in delivery of care.
• Maintains open communication with medical staff, administration, and patients/families.
