Qualifications

• Must be CPR certified or become certified during probation and maintain certification throughout employment with COMC.
• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program.
• Experience with an electronic health record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains medical supplies inventory and performs preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating.
• Verifies patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
• Prepares patients for examination by taking vitals and reporting history.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and secures medical records in accordance with HIPAA.
