Central Ozarks Medical Center is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for Monday through Wednesday shifts in Missouri. The role involves supporting clinical operations, verifying patient data, preparing patients, and maintaining records with HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a medical assisting certificate; CPR may be required during probation. Travel to different COMC locations may be necessary.

• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality

Responsabilités

• Maintains medical supplies inventory and performs preventive maintenance on equipment
• Verifies patient information by interviewing patients and recording medical history
• Prepares patients for examination with basic screening and vital signs
• Maintains patient records securely and confidentiality
• Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Travel to COMC locations as required
