Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers in Cambridge City, IN is seeking a Patient Care Specialist II to support residents in a safe, therapeutic environment and collaborate with the Patient Care Manager and Executive Director to promote long-term recovery. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Associates preferred), CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license.

• Check in with manager for resident report and assignments.
• Supervise resident AM/PM care.
• Supervise patient medication, document all incoming medications, and coordinate with nurse and psychiatrist/physician regarding medication compliance.
• Maintain residents’ schedule during your shift.
• Observe and assure adherence to house rules.
• Monitor all chores and work projects.
• Run didactic groups and assist residents with recreational activities that promote comfort, security, and recovery.

As a Patient Care Specialist, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Patient Care Manager and the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for our residents.

Requirements
