Sentara Family Medicine Physicians in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a full-time Patient Care Specialist to support a physician’s office with non-clinical tasks, ensuring an excellent patient experience. You will answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to patient questions in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

The role requires 3 years of customer service and 1 year with health insurance or medical records data.

Sentara Family Medicine Physicians is now hiring a full-time Patient Care Specialist in Virginia Beach, VA! Clinic Hours Monday-Thursday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM Overview As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Healthcare, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician's office and ensure an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions. Compensation & Benefits

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.44 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
