Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York seeks a Patient Care Associate to support nursing staff and provide patient care within the Specialty Service. You will assist with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and procedures, contributing to a safe and compassionate patient environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Associate program/equivalent with skills in venipuncture and EKG.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care activities and ED/ward procedures.
• Record vital signs and assist with clinical procedures.
• Support activities of daily living and patient safety across shifts.
• Maintain clean, safe, and functional patient environment.
