Benchmark Physical Therapy in Johnson City, TN, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support clinic growth and provide exceptional patient intake. The PCC-I collaborates with the Clinic Director to ensure efficient daily operations and a welcoming patient experience.

Core duties include greeting patients, scheduling referrals, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and coordinating front-office tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Communication skills - must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership.
• Ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision.
• As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect all money due at the time of service.
• Convert referrals into evaluations.
• Schedule patient visits.
• Create an inviting clinic atmosphere and welcome calls.
• Monitor arrival rate through great customer experience.
• Manage schedule, document routing, overtime, non-clinical documentation, deposits, and insurance reporting.
• Attend required training and complete quarterly compliance training.
