Job Description

The Health Care Specialist performs timely equipment setups, including ventilators, monitors, and oxygen devices, and provides technical assistance and patient education, often in-home.

1. Requires a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and a timely response to on-call duties, including after hours and weekends.
2. Conducts patient assessments, maintains organized records, and follows safety and regulatory policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA).
3. Qualifications vary by experience level: from familiarity with home health care equipment to 2-3+ years of experience; may involve training others.
4. Must be clinically authorized, licensed, or certified as per state and national requirements (CRT, RRT, RN, LPN, etc.), and remain compliant.
5. Requires computer literacy, strong human relations skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally.
