Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification or training in Phlebotomy and EKG preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs, weight, and measure patients; record findings.
• Instruct patients on specimen collection and perform basic specimen screening.
• Prepare collected specimens for pick-up and labeling.
• Perform vision and hearing tests and simple urinalysis.
• Administer emergency first aid and basic life support as needed.
• Assist medical staff during examinations and prepare room with supplies/equipment.
• Prepare examination room and ensure instruments are clean and disinfected.
• Interview patients to obtain health history and relevant information.
• Maintain and file patient charts and documents; report observations to clinical staff.
