Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Unit Clerk/Care Partner for the 6 Main unit on a full-time day shift. The role combines direct patient care with administrative support, under RN/LPN supervision. You will be a communication hub on the unit, handling clerical tasks and coordinating information for the care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily care, documenting vitals and I&O, and ensuring patient safety. Experience is not required, with on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; healthcare/clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, turns, and positions patients using Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• Observe confused or difficult patients and provide basic hygiene care.
• Assist with ADLs including toileting, grooming, feeding and mobility.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and other routine measurements.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the healthcare team.
