Job summary

Guthrie seeks a Patient Care Partner to join the 6SW unit on a full-time day shift (7 AM–7 PM). You will work under RN/LPN supervision to provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and help create a safe, healing environment for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to use basic computer and telephone systems.

Responsibilities

• Lifting, turning, and positioning patients using Safe Patient Handling equipment (>35 pounds).
• Observing confused or difficult patients.
• AM/PM hygiene care and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Toileting, shaving, washing, and oral care.
• Feeding patients and assisting with range of motion exercises.
• Mobilizing patients and assisting with transfers and ambulation.
• Discontinuing foley catheter and performing simple dressing changes.
• Administers basic patient care tasks and monitors patient conditions.
• Performs and records vital signs, I&O, and basic clinical observations.
• Transports patients and equipment as needed.
• Participates in patient rounding and contributes to safety and satisfaction.
