Saint Francis Healthcare System in Missouri is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Partner to assist patients and families under the direction of the Patient Care Manager and Charge Nurse.
Responsibilities include delivering and collecting meal trays, documenting meal intake, restocking galleys, and helping with patient call lights and outside calls, along with miscellaneous clerical duties. A High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification are required within 30 days of hire.
Under the direction of the Patient Care Manager and Charge Nurse, the Patient Care Partner is responsible for providing assistance to patients and families served by Saint Francis Healthcare System. The responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting patients with meal orders, delivering and collecting patient meal trays, documenting meal intake, restocking galleys, assisting with answering patient call lights, answering outside calls, and miscellaneous clerical duties. The PCP maintains a positive attitude when assuming tasks, works to achieve continuity of care from admission to discharge and works in accordance with the policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of the Health System.
Time Type: Part time (48 hours per 2 week pay period), with benefits Typical Hours: Day Shift, 6:00am to 2:30pm, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation. Education: High School Diploma or GED- required Certification & Licensures: Current BLS certification- required within 30 days of hire Experience: Previous computer experience required. Previous clerical experience required, preferably in the medical field.
