Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Partner for the Day Shift at Hazleton, PA. This .6 FTE, part-time role covers 7:00 am to 7:30 pm on a rotating schedule, including every other weekend and holidays.

You will support the care team with per-patient needs and essential diagnostic activities under RN supervision. The position emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered communication, and technical competency in a Magnet-designated hospital system with strong safety and quality

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months recent experience in direct patient care activities or completion of LVHN's inexperienced technical partner course.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and related activities under supervision.
• Observe and communicate patient changes to the RN in charge.
• Support unit and hospital goals and participate in patient rounds as assigned.
