Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, NY is seeking a Patient Care Partner for the 3North Telemetry unit on a part-time night shift (11:00 PM–7:15 AM) with rotating weekends/holidays. The role involves direct bedside care, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and blood glucose testing, in a cooperative nursing team environment.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, appropriate certifications (Phlebotomy, EKG, BLS) or demonstrated related experience, and at least

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy Certification and EKG Certification or demonstrated EKG experience.
• One year of Nursing Assistant experience is required.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and EKG procedures with accuracy.
• Monitor vital signs and blood glucose as ordered.
• Assist nurses at the bedside and support patient safety.
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication with patients and families.

Preferred Criteria

• Minimum of one year experience in psychiatry or related field

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma
• Successful completion of approved Patient Care Tech Program or a Phlebotomy Certification and EKG Certification or demonstrated experience in performing electrocardiograms
• One year experience as a Nursing Assistant
• BLS Certification
