Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an ICU Technician for the Hospitalist team on a full-time night shift. The role focuses on bedside care, drawing blood, performing EKGs, and ensuring patient comfort in a busy hospital setting.

You will collaborate with nurses and attendants, balancing direct patient care with clinical tasks, including phlebotomy, vitals, and glucose testing, while living within commutable distance to NYP.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a health care setting.
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant.
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and EKG procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and blood glucose testing.
• Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants to raise the bar and Put Patients First.

Required Criteria
