You will perform ADLs, vital signs, I&O, data entry, and help maintain patient records while promoting a safe, compassionate environment and efficient unit operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Effective communication with diverse populations.
• Able to organize changing work assignments; flexible.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks as delegated by the RN and assist under RN direction in implementing the care plan.
• Provide compassionate interactions with patients and families.
• Follow evidence-based guidelines to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Provide a safe environment in patient rooms and on unit.
• Assist with stocking and ordering supplies for patient care.
• Assist with unit communication and onboarding new team members.
• Comply with policies and protect PHI.
