Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of medical office experience, including knowledge of medical terminology.
• Preferred: Patient Navigator Experience: 2 years.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes mission, vision, and values of MarillacHealth, and abides by service behavior standards.
• Coordinates referrals and follow-ups; educates patients about referrals and care coordination.
• Documents patient information in computer systems to support outcomes and reporting.
• Pre-authorizations for imaging and procedures as needed; assists enrollments and related documents.
• Assists patients with navigation to community services and recalls; supports timely scheduling and completion of tests.
