Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program and CMA/RMA certification.
• Experience in primary care, geriatric, hospice or palliative care preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care, admit patients in the EMR, and schedule appointments.
• Triage incoming calls/messages and assist with home visits when needed.
• Assist Primary and Palliative Care nurses and cross-cover service lines as required.
• Perform clerical tasks: typing, faxing, errands, and other admin duties.
