Job summary

Olympic Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented health information professional to ensure accurate processing of provider orders and timely data entry in the EHR. You will coordinate across departments and assist patients in navigating care, while maintaining HIPAA standards.

The role requires two years in a healthcare setting and familiarity with insurance authorizations. Epic experience is preferred, with a 100% FTE daytime shift on the beautiful Washington coast.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in healthcare or business preferred.
• Two years of healthcare experience and strong customer service.
• Prior experience with insurance authorizations and Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process, authorize, and schedule provider orders using OMC systems.
• Coordinate health information between departments per HIPAA rules.
• Document patient care into the electronic health record promptly.
• Assist patients in navigating the health care system according to care plans.
