Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and patients with a mix of administrative and clinical tasks. You will register patients, manage schedules, document vital signs, and assist during examinations to ensure smooth clinic flow.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1 year of medical office clerical/billing experience, and basic clinical equipment proficiency. CPR certification is preferred; bilingual interpreters may require medical interpretation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of clerical/billing experience in a medical office setting.
• Experience operating multi-line phone systems, fax machines, photocopiers, PCs, credit card machines, glucometers, EKG machines and other medical equipment as required by the medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patients, print providers daily schedules.
• Ensure inventories of medical and office supplies are stocked and maintained.
• Process ordering of clinical supplies per practice standards.
• Assist with injections, EKGs, spirometry, phlebotomy and therapeutic treatments as instructed.
