Memorial Health Care Systems in Seward, NE seeks a full-time Patient Care Manager Assistant for the Family Medical Center. This Medical Assistant or LPN role works Monday through Friday with no weekend rotation, offering a competitive wage and benefits package.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, provider follow-up, immunization knowledge, injections, EKGs, and patient education. Nebraska licensure or MA certification is required; clinic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: AA degree or equivalent; six months to one year in a rural medical clinic or private practice preferred.
• Current Practical Nurse or Medication Aide licensure in Nebraska, or Medical Assistant degree or certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow provider as assigned
• Patient assessment
• Knowledge of immunizations and allergies
• Injections - IM, sub Q, intradermal
• EKG and various treatments - nebulizers, pulse oximetry
• Monitor patients
• Patient education
• Patient callbacks, pharmacy callbacks
• Assist with Provider/Nurse schedules
• Assist with quality gap monitoring and closure
• Other duties as assigned
