Dodge County Hospital in Nebraska seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our physician office. This is a full-time daytime position, Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–12pm.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, assessing patients, documenting findings, discussing medications and tests, and scheduling referrals. MA or LPN certification is required; high school diploma or GED is needed; basic computer skills are expected.

• Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team with positive interpersonal communication with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Conducts an assessment of patient’s condition and documents findings.
• Uses professional judgment in treating patients and notifies physician as appropriate.
• Schedules consultations and referrals as needed and calls in prescriptions as directed.
• Notifies patients of test results and follow-up visits.
• Maintains examination rooms stocked and ensures infection control.
