NYU Langone Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Brain Spine Tumor Center in Manhattan. The PCA will assist with administrative and patient care responsibilities that support efficient practice workflows, ensuring exceptional patient experience and operational excellence.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of relevant experience. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be able to navigate a busy team environment while maintaining focus on patient needs.

The salary for this position is approximately $58,542.75 annually, depending on experience and education, along with additional compensation considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Medical Assistant within the last two years.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and phlebotomy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients and completes check-in and check-out processes.
• Takes vital signs and records in Electronic Medical Record.
• Assists with the collection of lab specimens.
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization.
