Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Per Diem clinic assistant to support the float pool with a varied schedule. The position includes day shifts, potential evening or weekend work, and on-call or overtime pay. A HS diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support/CPR are required, along with computer experience. Prior clinic or patient-care experience is preferred, as is receptionist or word processing background.

Work Schedule

Per Diem, varied schedule. Day shift, required 8 hours per pay period. This position is in the float pool.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• Computer experience. Required
• 1 year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
• Previous patient care experience in a medical facility. Preferred
• Previous receptionist or word processing experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician. Preferred
