Job summary

UW Health Health System in northern Illinois seeks a Patient Care (Float) Receptionist in the Finance area. The role is per diem with a varied, day shift and 8 hours per pay period, and includes float pool responsibilities.

The position offers evening, night, weekend differentials, overtime, and on-call pay in addition to benefits. Qualifications include a HS diploma or equivalent and computer/word processing experience.

• Experience in a clinic setting is preferred.
• Basic life support/cpr may be required or preferred depending on role.

Work Schedule

Per Diem, varied schedule. Day shift, required 8 hours per pay period. This position is in the float pool.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• Computer experience. Required
• 1 year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
• Previous patient care experience in a medical facility. Preferred
• Previous receptionist or word processing experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician. Preferred
