Job summary

CentraCare Health in Saint Cloud, MN invites applications for a Part-Time Patient Care Extender at Urgent Care Plaza. This role supports licensed medical staff in delivering patient-centered care, with a focus on efficiency, compassion, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include wound irrigation and dressing, crutch sizing, performing blood draws and EKGs, cleaning and stocking treatment rooms, documenting patient activity, and assisting with basic clinical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required or obtainable on hire.

Job description

Join our CentraCare team as a Patient Care Extender! You'll work with a team of amazing healthcare professionals every day. You'll join them to listen, then serve, guide, and heal.

At Urgent Care Plaza, the PCE will work in a fast-paced environment, and will be responsible for assisting licensed medical staff in the quality treatment of patients and functions as a vital team member in providing patient/family centered care through tasks including wound irrigation, cleaning/dressing applications, crutch sizing, performing blood draws, EKGs, cleaning and stocking treatment rooms, documenting patient activity, and more.

Schedule:

• Part-Time | 36 hours every 2 weeks
• 12-hour shifts from 7am-7:30pm and 9am-9:30pm
• Variable days
• Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay starting at $20.72 per hour and up based on experience.
  • Pay range $19.53-$29.28

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
