Job summary

CentraCare Health in Saint Cloud, MN seeks a Patient Care Extender for our new Urgent Care at River Campus next to the Emergency Room opening February 2027. You will support licensed staff, assist in patient care, and help maintain clean, stocked treatment rooms.

Shifts are 12 hours, full-time 72 hours every two weeks, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. Starting pay $20.72 per hour, with a pay range of $19.53–$29.28 based on experience; benefits include medical, PTO, retirement and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required; can be obtained internally upon hire

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed medical staff in quality treatment of patients.
• Support wound irrigation, dressing applications, and crutch sizing.
• Perform blood draws and EKGs as needed.
• Clean and stock treatment rooms and document patient activity.
• Serve as a vital team member delivering patient/family centered care.

Join our CentraCare team as a Patient Care Extender at our new, second location, Urgent Care at River Campus - next to the Emergency Room! Opening February 2027

You'll work with a team of amazing healthcare professionals every day. You'll join them to listen, then serve, guide, and heal!

At Urgent Care, the PCE will work in a fast-paced environment, and will be responsible for assisting licensed medical staff in the quality treatment of patients and functions as a vital team member in providing patient/family centered care through tasks including wound irrigation, cleaning/dressing applications, crutch sizing, performing blood draws, EKGs, cleaning and stocking treatment rooms, documenting patient activity, and more.

Schedule:

• Full Time | 72 hours every 2 weeks
• 12-hour shifts from 9am-9:30pm variable days
• Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay starting at $20.72 per hour and up based on experience.
