Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking a Patient Care Extender for the St. Cloud Hospital’s Emergency Trauma Center. In this full-time role, you will assist in patient care in a fast-paced environment, engaging with a dedicated healthcare team.

Responsibilities include cleaning wounds, applying splints, and supporting patients in mobility. Starting pay is competitive at $19.91 per hour with benefits including medical insurance and PTO. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma and preferably have EMT or Nursing Assistant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EMT-Basic or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• One year of ED experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.

Responsibilities

• Help patients by cleaning and dressing wounds.
• Start splints and perform blood draws.
• Teach patients to walk with crutches.
