Job summary

Fresh Pond Physical Therapy is seeking a friendly Patient Care Associate to join our team in New York. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience and smooth front desk operations.

You’ll support the clinical team, manage scheduling, verify insurance, and handle basic administrative tasks while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a neat, organized clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Full-time availability preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional service in person and on the phone.
• Manage front desk operations: scheduling, check-in/out, and inquiries.
• Enter and update patient information in the EMR accurately.
• Verify demographics and insurance details.
• Collect co-pays and assist with administrative tasks.
• Support the clinical team and help maintain a clean, organized environment.
