Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Environmental Services worker in Wisconsin. The role involves cleaning patient care areas, restrooms, offices, and related facilities, with emphasis on infection control and safe handling of waste.

• Ability to follow and understand oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators, and stairwells.
• Cleans environmental surfaces including ceilings, vents, walls, doors, furniture, beds, and windows.
• Dusts and damp mops floors in patient areas and corridors.
• Replaces cubicle and window coverings.
• Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste following infection control guidelines.
• Sorts, stocks and delivers linens and prepares soiled linen for transport.
• Cleans and prepares dismissal and transfer units and distributes non-medical supplies.
• Fills and cleans supply dispensers.
